About us
The owners see themselves as investors, mainly in the northern part of Mafia island, to help develop this region and,
where possible, educate the people in a sustainable way.
So far, there are three divisions;

The past three years the company has made strategic acquirements of land, suitable for each of the three purposes.
At the moment these plots are prepared for
- Medical Clinic which will become a Hospital, the “Uzima Health Center”
- Eco houses for families on vacation and investors @ Maisha Mazuri.
- Fields to grow vegetables, fruits and spices @ Hamnah Shida.

The health-situation in the north of Mafia needs to be improved.
People with injury or disease can go to the small Government Dispensary in Bweni where dr. Hamadi does a fantastic job within the limitations of his funding.
The people in the north do not have much education and most do not have a permanent job.
They are dependant on fishing and a seasonal crop.
The meals mostly consist of ungali, rice or cassava.
Our fields for agriculture will provide labor and also the availability of more variety in foods.

The families which have coconut can sell these to our company, which we then process in several products.
Some fields will be for sunflower and we will buy available sunflower from the local farmers to produce oil.
The economic outlook for the island is promising.
Plans are being made by the investors who organise in MITO, which is an MITO organisation to promote the island.
Originally to help tourism enterpreneurs, the vision is that the overspill of the resorts in the south can have excursions and vacations in the north.
